Why Fax2Email is free?
Smiley earns revenue from Telkom, through a rebate agreement, on all calls made to Fax2Email numbers which allows Smiley to provide Fax2Email at no charge to the client.

Email2Fax Pricing
When utilising Email2Fax, per minute rates apply. All clients that sign up for Email2Fax must do so through a pre-paid system. Companies will only be approved for post pay under exceptional circumstances.

Step-By-Step Receiving a Fax

• A fax is sent to a Fax2Email number.
• The fax is received on Smiley’s Platform and automatically converted to an email and sent to the recipient’s email address.
• The recipient receives the fax in their email inbox as an email attachment.
• The digital fax can now be saved, printed or forwarded.

Step-By-Step Sending a Fax

• A fax is sent via email by addressing the email to a recipient’s fax number @ domain.
• The document to be faxed needs to be attached to the email.
• The body of the email will come out as the cover page with the attachments of the email as the body of the fax.
• The email is received on Smiley’s Platform and automatically converted to a standard fax and sent to the recipient’s fax machine.
• The fax arrives at the recipient’s fax machine.

Additional Services

Smiley Fax has a variety of extra services besides Fax2Email which enables users to have a
                                                TOTAL DIGITAL FAX SOLUTION.

Users can send faxes via their computer, which will allow them to send the most popular types of attachments via their email to a fax number anywhere in the world. This however, is not a free service – there is no monthly fee but users are charged per fax sent in this way.

Smiley Fax CC allows users to link their existing 086 number to two email addresses. This means that whenever a fax is sent to the primary email address a copy of the fax is also sent to the secondary email address. The secondary email address can now serve as an archive system for all incoming faxes. This facility is also useful for Managers who want their PA’s to receive copies of all their faxes automatically.

Smiley Fax’s personalised branding option allows Companies to brand system delivery notes and confirmations with their Company logo and details.  This means that any welcome notifications to new fax users, as well as fax delivery reports that are received will include the Company’s branding.
